WW2 Bubble sextant MK IX
World War 2 aircraft sextant. It was built in1940 . Before the days of GPS technology, aircraft navigators would use a bubble sextant to get a "fix" on their position by making measurements on the stars, the moon or the sun. Nice original war time piece complete with case and calibration certificate.
